Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Custom and personalised orders:

You can personalize most of our books with a name on the cover and dedication page.

Personalized Birthday Interview Books can be customized to begin at any age from 1 to 10. This avoids blank pages at the start of the book for older children just beginning their book.

All custom orders are non-refundable, and require 1-2 weeks for printing and processing before they are shipped. A mock-up of your custom book cover can be emailed to you for your approval on request.

Items shipped in Canada:

Shipping times vary, please see individual items for details. All items are shipped via Canada Post. Once shipped, items typically reach the destination within 4 to 6 business days. All items include tracking.

Items shipped to the USA:

All items are shipped via Canada Post. Shipping times vary, please see individual items for details. Shipped items typically reach the destination within 5 to 10 business days, although can take up to three weeks depending on location and time spent in customs. All items are shipped with tracking. Due to the customs process, we cannot guarantee shipping times. As they are out of our control, we cannot refund due to delays that are part of the shipping or customs process.

Items shipped internationally:

International shipping is available to most countries. Standard items will be shipped within 1 to 3 business days from time of purchase. Customized items will be shipped within 1 to 2 weeks from time of purchase. All items are shipped with tracking via Canada Post. Shipped items typically reach the destination within 2 to 3 weeks depending on location and time spent in customs. We cannot refund items due to delays that occur in the shipping or customs process.

Shipping Guarantees:

The Joyful Life Company cannot guarantee shipping times under any circumstances. We always do our best to ensure that packages are shipped promptly. However, once a package leaves our hands it is out of our control. No refunds will be issued due to delays in packages reaching their destination. Thank-you for your understanding.

Returns and exchange details:

If you've changed your mind for any reason, The Joyful Life Company must be notified via email ([email protected]) within one week of receiving your order. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Shipping costs will NOT be refunded and return shipping is paid for by the buyer. Any customs or brokerage fees charged upon return will be deducted from the return amount.

If we have made an error or there is a defect in our product, please notify us within one week of receiving your order via email ([email protected]) and we will correct it! We want you to feel JOYFUL about your purchase!

What do you recommend for writing in the books and adding photos?

We find that a super-fine or fine-tip gel pen works perfectly! To adhere photos to pages, double sided tape or adhesive tabs for scrapbooking work well.
